    Head of the department

    Missions of the Department of Personnel Affairs are  

    1. to prepare the documents to be discussed in the Administrative Board and in the Senate,
    2. to plan, coordinate and conduct the activities of academic, military, and administrative personnel, 
    3. to conduct and coordinate the activities for getting permission for staff posts, announcing the available positions, and assigning to the staff posts for the academic personnel,
    4. to take actions for providing academic titles, promoting and orientation of the personnel, employing and assigning the instructors, and appointing the academic personnel; and also to take actions for employing foreign instructors or providing research assistants with the postgraduate education at national or international levels.
    5. to coordinate the actions to be taken regarding the research assistants within the framework of Program for Training Instructors; to enter information of academic personnel into the YÖKSİS e-App system; to follow up the activities regarding the domestic or foreign assignments and also the activities regarding the course assignments and instructor assignments
    6. to conduct the activities for appointment, retirement, and personal benefits of the personnel apart from the academic personnel and to perform the activities regarding the archive, and
    7. to prepare proposals for changes in the organization and staff positions.
